What this role looks like

A Network Administrator designs, implements, and maintains your organisation's network infrastructure. They manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure reliable connectivity, security, and performance across all your locations and remote workers.

Some of What They Do Day to Day

• Configure and maintain network switches, routers, and firewalls
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Manage VPN access for remote and hybrid workers
• Implement network security policies and access control lists
• Plan and execute network upgrades and capacity expansions
• Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for service provisioning
