What this role looks like

An Accountant provides higher-level financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. They work alongside your bookkeeper or independently to ensure your finances support strategic business goals and meet all reporting obligations.

Some of What They Do Day to Day

• Prepare financial statements and management accounts
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Analyse financial performance and identify trends or risks
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations and reporting standards
• Support external audit processes with documentation and schedules
• Advise on cost reduction opportunities and financial strategy
• Manage intercompany transactions and consolidated reporting
